LDA slat panels are decorative and acoustic panels made of solid MDF slats laminated with pre-impregnated foil, mounted on dense PET felt. Used for walls, ceilings, headboards, furniture fronts and room dividers.
Yes. The felt has a density of 1200–1300 g/m², which makes it a genuine acoustic product: it absorbs sound and reduces reverberation. Felt below 1000 g/m², common in imitations, has no real acoustic effect.

For the 40×260 panel: Natural Oak (Saragossa), Matt Black, Matt White on grey backing, Matt White on black backing, Walnut/British Tobacco, Cashmere, Antique Grey Oak, Matt Grey/greige, Sonoma Oak, Royal Oak. Other colours are made to order, minimum 10 pieces.
LDA is made in Europe: dense 1200–1300 g/m² felt, zero formaldehyde emissions, antistatic and scratch-resistant treatment, easy cleaning, tight dimensional tolerances. Many low-cost imports use thinner or lighter felt and cannot document certifications.

Check four things: felt density (1200–1300 g/m² for a genuine acoustic effect), slat and backing thickness, formaldehyde emissions and colour consistency between batches. Ask for these in writing. See our full guide.
The denser and thicker the felt, the more sound it absorbs. Thin felt below 1000 g/m² looks good but does not noticeably reduce reverberation.
